Lace 'em up and join us at Tucson’s premier half-marathon charity event. The multiple TMC A-Mountain events are designed for all ages and all bodies, runners, walkers, joggers, chair athletes, young and old – everyone is welcome! You also have the opportunity to support a host of local Tucson non-profits and the vital services they provide to our local community. We’re coming back to the A . . . A-Mountain that is. We enjoyed the past two years at the Biosphere 2, but we’re staging the 2023 edition of our popular TMC Get Moving Tucson Half Marathon and 5k on the west side of Tucson’s Downtown district, at the super-cool Mercado Annex, a perfect post-run venue – see https://mercadodistrict.com/annex/.

Thanks to TMC and Rio Nuevo for helping fund this classic Tucson adventure!

Three Distances: whatever your fitness, whatever your goals, we’ve got you covered!

  • TMC A-Mountain Half Marathon. We’ve crafted a beautiful 13.1 mile course that loops up and down A-Mountain and does an out-and-back on the speedy Santa Cruz Riverpath. The start and finish lines will most likely be on Cushing Street, at the Mercado Annex.

  • TMC A-Mountain Four-Mile Run/Walk. Instead of a 5k this year, we think it would be fun to do a 4-miler up and down A-Mountain. Walk or run or roll: this scenic route is designed for walkers, runners, and chair athletes of all ages and abilities!

  • Cox Free Family Mile and SAR Free FitKidz. Children under 12 will be registered in the SAR FitKidz program with all the classic SAR FitKidz goodies. 12 and over? Come out and join us for an easy mile jaunt.
