They’re just trying to make Jacksonville the London team it seems. Germany gets good matches like Chiefs vs Dolphins, the best AFC teams currently and with two of the biggest stars in Mahomes and Hill
To be fair the English market would be great for the NFL to have a team in. Bonus point that the stadium is already built so it works out.
If they want to bolster the US market, how about not signing a TV deal with beIN Sport? Of the top 6 European leagues, Ligue 1 is the most inaccessible.
Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the boss of BeIN and PSG, doesn’t care.
Modern football is a circus
As opposed to cup games, preseason friendlies, etc.
‘Regular season’ adds more context to people only really familiar with American sports as well (though I’m not sure how many American’s unfamiliar with European leagues would be clicking on an article about Ligue 1 in the first place).
Hope they get Clermont foot Vs le harve
ligue 1 mcdonald’s league
Outside of psg games noone in usa will care
if mbappe isn’t there, these matches won’t sell out.
This is some Liga MX/FMF type shit.
If its in Montreal then u could say both PSG and Marseille would be able to draw in a large crowd probably
Modern day football in a nutshell.
I don’t think it would go that well, PSG’s really the only French team that could draw a half decent crowd in the US, otherwise you’re probably looking at Mazatlan-Juarez repeats.

PSG has definitely gotten a grip in the US market at least in terms of visibility and recognition. I see lots of kids with PSG gear even though they may not follow the team closely.
What about fans ? They will have to travel from France to USA to watch their own team in a regular season ? This is stupid
what is the “regular season” in football? Surely it’s just the season
