I’m sorry but was the text on the website written by 14 year olds? It looks like the least serious information about a serious issue I’ve seen in a while.

I liked it. The typeface, size and spacing made it easier to read. They included all the points in a relatively short amount of text, lots of people don’t like to read walls of text that have the points hidden in amongst unnecessary text.

They put important points in bold so even if you skimmed you could see the important points and read that paragraph if it was what you wanted information on.

It makes it easier for people who don’t really understand the issues, to understand what it is and why it’s wrong.

And this autistic person appreciated the simplicity and straightforwardness of it. As I assume others would too. So it’s more accessable and understandable for people like me.

I’m sure it’s good for someone. As another autistic person I found it incredibly distracting and overwhelming.

Yea it’s pretty messy. It would be better if there was a link to a separate page with a clean list of what the change would include. The main page should just have the few important points on why this is bad.

I know a little bit about the issue, and even I was confused about what was up

It’s not great. I’m not saying it’s horrible, but it could be a lot more straightforward.

The grammar isn’t the yellow of the egg either.

It sounds outright stupid but what do you expect from the youth wing of the FDP🤮

Lol. Generating a mail with gpt 3 is a mistake lol.

This is what the generated email got me :

Elle remet en question notre liberté individuelle en limitant notre droit d’avoir des animaux de compagnie sans restrictions excessives

Translating to : It challenges our individual freedom by limiting our right to have pets without undue restrictions

entraîner des conséquences économiques néfastes pour les éleveurs et les commerçants spécialisés dans le domaine des animaux domestiques.

lead to harmful economic consequences for breeders and traders specializing in the field of domestic animals.

Lol wtf is this generated out of context.

Chat in french = cat in English so they must have used “contrôle du chat” instead of “contrôle du clavardage” to generate the e-mail…

Yeah, why not simply write a single text in each language and publish that?

What’s stopping criminals from rolling their own encryption or coding messages? This is so dumb it hurts.

Never ever will I support anything from the Young Liberals, even if it’s something as crucial as that. These guys are among those parties whose sole mission is to promote anti social measures and thus leading to all that very dystopian world we currently live in.

Sure stay in your extremist childish thinking.

I’m f amazed at the news getting out of the French Parlement, where a party refuses to vote a proposition aligning with their view just because it’s a very opposite party.

Wtf are they f children there?

It’s the exact same thing I see in your comment.

Honestly, this is nothing specific to the French parliament.

It’s very common for political parties to oppose some law that is fundamentally ok with their line of view just because another party they don’t like is supporting it.

In the US, it seems like it’s happening also very frequently.

It sucks but this is nothing new in politics.

You know whats extremist? Supporting conservative and neo liberal politics that lead us to all that problems, hoping that the very same politics will make a change in the right direction. It’s not about opposing an idea but opposing the center-right parties altogether. Once you comply it will open a huge gate of possibilities that will only be used in their favor.

You know, this is the mindset that allowed Putin to build his regime so easily. While the opposition (in the broadest sense of this word) was fighting against each other, few were fighting against Putin himself. Fighting together against one particular measure != supporting conservative and neo liberal politics.

Well, just look up their party FDP (Germany). They base their entire politics towards rich people and try to cut everything else. Just plain capitalists driven by corrputed politicians. They may be liberal to some extends but thats mostly liberal towards the free market aspect.
