This might be my least favorite addition to this game in a long while. One of the constant annoyances in the game since release has been the amount of locations that simply do not allow you to play. Milano, Sandlot, Weirdworld, Crimson Cosmo, plus the use of cards like Storm, Xavier and - perhaps most popular - Galactus ending up with the popular strategy of plainly locking down all options from the adversary. Is it viable, clever, and legal? Yea, its somewhat amusing. Its also a massive pain the ass joining a match and realizing you’re not going to get the opportunity to use your deck in the first place.

I thought after the recent patches and reworks regarding locations that they finally learned their lesson, but this is straight up weaponizing that flaw (IMO, though I don’t think its an unpopular opinion) and making another buff to lockdown strategies.

Honestly think Jeff will end up being one of the most valuable cards in the game just from the fact that they can’t let go of these types of locations.

Damn, I was worried about that, and that picture is disgusting, ugh!

Here we go again, Brode! Feels like hearthstone all over again, lmao.

I once had a Hearthstone veteran explain succintly to me “You need to understand that Ben Brode’s brain is completely rotten by the ‘lol random’ motivation” and ever since then, anytime I get hit by a Weirdworld, Worldship, Sanctum Santorum I just think to myself “lol random” and it makes me feel a little better.
