    Nung nalaman ko yung KathNiel breakup, my first reaction was akala ko tagal nang hindi sila. Turns out I was confusing them with JaDine, lol.

    Pero okay lang yan kung affected kayo or gusto niyo pag-usapan. Not going to rain on your parade unlike ng mga ilang bugok sa internets na bakit daw yan pinag-uusapan imbes na Gaza at Ukraine.

          I strongly believe the people on column B are the same who complained and disagreed with the sub shutdown/boycott last June because they don’t want the mods to decide for them, and the API changes do not directly affect their site experience.

          Bunch of grandstanding, disingenuous hypocrites.

    Celebrated my 40th today and first time rin kumain sa labas for my birthday in a long while. Usually prefer an understated festivity and have food delivered at home, but this one I thought was worth going out. I cleanly forgot that Christmas rush nga pala araw ko, so had to put up with really bad traffic.

    I used to chuckle when I’d see the 67th Air Supply or David Pomeranz tour here, and now seeing Incubus coming over I’m guessing the gen-Z’s are like “who the hell” or wth with laughter.

      Get well as soon as you can! Kahit mild, nakaka disorient talaga ang loss of smell and taste. Then nung ako tinamaan last May, almost 40° C inabot ng lagnat. Hope you can also recover in a week or sooner :-)

        Thanks, dude. Yeah, feeling a lot better today, but hindi pa 100%.

        Thinking of actually working from home tomorrow because VL na ko till the new year starting next week and I can never understand yung rule na di pwede magkadikit yung SL and VL.

        Di naman ako umabot ng 40°. I bet that absolutely sucked.

    More BS sa kabila:

    Bibili raw siya ng pepper spray kasi may exhibitionist sa loob ng jeep. Eh di lahat ng kapwa mo pasahero pati ikaw damay. Ito naman mga replies hindi man lang sabihan na bad (bordering on fatalist) idea yun.

    Edit: Just to add to this: “self-defense” stuff (martial arts, taser) gives you a false sense of security and confidence. It’s primary purpose is that when the only option is to fight, you have something to do/use. Hindi ibig sabihin na when some fool decides to show his dick, talks trash, or asks for your wallet, your first inclination is to do a roundhouse kick. The first, second, and third option is your safety. Kung pwede mo wag pansinin or ibigay wallet mo, that’s what you do. If death is probable (hindi pa kontento sa wallet or an actual rape attempt), that’s when you resort to the pepper sprays, taser, and small joint manipulation.

      Ehh…looking at the thread, a lot of the top replies pointed out that it would be a bad idea. Top reply even says just to shout out that someone is showing their junk and the OP even replies to those stating it’s a bad idea thanking them for letting her know. A lot of other replies are only pointing out the disgusting behavior of the exhibitionist. Granted, there are a lot of people who support it without knowing it’s a bad idea, but I still feel you’re misrepresenting what’s happening over there.

        When I first posted this, there were several replies on it (barely an hour in), most of it telling the OP to buy the pepper spray. The replies you mentioned didn’t show up until after I already shared it (they’re tagged blue when I went back today).

        Sure, the succeeding replies eventually gave correct info, but giving bad advice on a “what should I do” thread (especially when it’s the initial ones) is terrible/harmful.

        Point still stands though that “self defense” on a guy passively showing his dick (that OP claims she was already able to deal with verbally) is just being vindictive and Sonny Parsons level of stupidity.

    I can’t shake off this nagging feeling that these strong quakes hitting the Philippines with increasing regularity in the past few years are precursors to something huge that’s about to occur, like the pressure is looking for a weak spot to unleash mayhem. I fear it would be an earthquake higher than magnitude 8, that it could even reach magnitude 9, in which case it’s going to be very bad. I hope not but it almost feels like a premonition, idk… Maybe I’m just too worried but then again, the signs are pointing there.

    Why do the villains have the most memorable campaigns? Jajaja-jamby, Gusto ko happy ka, lumangoy sa basura, pia-pia-pia cayetano, budots, Erap para sa Mahirap, I could go on and on.
