This is not made by me but I stumbled upon this and I was not prepaired for how nicely this video was made.
Oh wow I had no idea about the cabin, bunkers and fire station! For anybody interested: DayZ is in Usti Nad Labem in Czechia. There’s even a little notebook at the top of the hill between Cherno and Elektro where people write messages.
Oh that’s cool, did not know aboute the notebook. I was passing the area last year on a bicycle trip. I was doing a bit of a loot run on the bike. From Berezino to Gorka, up to Altar hill, down again to Novy and Stary. Took a break at stary pond, Kabanino, then road via grishino to northern highway, the “gulag”, went swimming in the pond next to it. Then up to tisy.
It was pretty fucking cool how you know where you are without having ever been there. Quite the experience. I think a bicycle is perfect to experience it, but it is quite hilly, does not really translate like that in the game.
