Probably all I’m going to get too, the plant isn’t looking good 😭
Oh no, what’s up with your plant?
I think it’s a virus? The leaves are all curly and purple and it’s not putting out flowers. All of my tomatoes are doing it. I got them from someone that got them in a plant swap. And I didn’t have a plot to put them in so they are in potting soil in buckets.
Do you have a photo of the plants? And what size buckets are they in?
No current ones, this is from one of the other plants a month ago:
Can get something tomorrow morning.
They are in I think 4 gallon buckets. I know that’s too small, but what I had available. I did drill drainage holes in the bottom so I know they aren’t too wet.
Hrm, yeah more pictures would be helpful, but the fact that only the tips of your healthy leaves are browning, and how hard the leaves are curling in on themselves, makes me suspect under watering.
Here is what I was able to get this morning, not sure if they show enough detail:
I wasn’t sure if the buckets would work well. I had good luck with self-watering nested buckets and roma tomatoes several years ago, but I didn’t have enough to do that this time.
I water at least once daily, sometimes morning and night depending on how dry the soil feels.
Yeah dang, that’s definitely more than just watering stress, it does look like viral damage. That’s often hard to treat, best bet is to just trim away all the affected leaves and stems, and hope what’s left can keep producing.
