Cool. Cheaper EVs for the rest of us.
To be fair for a traveler, they probably don’t want to plan out their itinerary around hour long recharging stops.
Good luck getting an electric vehicle at 100% charge from a rental agency, and great luck returning a vehicle at 100% charge as well.
There really isn’t much to plan. I got an EV for a trip to Vegas, I wasn’t even specifically looking for an EV, it was just the cheapest option. For 4 days around the city and the national park I didn’t need to charge it at all. The cost to return it with a lower charge was much cheaper than it would’ve been with a gas car. It was nice not needing to visit a gas station either.
