I think this is the best for the club, the performance is abysmal, yes you can’t blame Xavi for Barca trainwreck but the result also tells the story.

Good point. Unlike certain other managers, you can actually trust that he’s telling the truth about things. Thanks for reminding me 🙂

And well if you think about it, one of the big reasons for him is probably the tight budgets under FSG he could have won more a bit of more spending, why would he go to another club thats financially in shambles, I can see him at Real after ancelotti or Bayern, but probably the germany job is gonna be first for him

As a Liverpool fan, I’d absolutely HATE for him to go to Real! Other than maybe one of the Manchester clubs, that’s the absolute worst case scenario IMO.

Germany could be great, though, especially since it would (most of the year) be much less hectic than managing a major club that plays a million matches per season.

As long as FSG don’t hire The Special One or someone else known for tactics that suck the joy out of football, I’ll keep an open mind 🤷

I think what xavi needs is at least a few more seasons building up his coaching CV. He went straight from playing to managing a low level team to bam. Right to one of the toughest jobs in the game. Especially right now, with Barca in financial shambles, with the long held policy of digging themselves deeper into a hole for a team with fans whose expectations are unreasonably high…he was thrown in the deep end of a shark tank with ankle weights and a few days of swimming lessons under his belt. It was insane to do it.
