bikes parking on car space, or cars parking on bikes space should be the least of anyone’s concern when cars are double/triple/quadruple parked, parked on the slipway, intersection etc…

councils and local governments need to work with parking operators to drastically increase multistorey car parks and creating spaces for cars and bikes, leave the streets clean for people to jalan-jalan.

My gripe with motorbike parking is that they’re usually tucked away in places far away from where people wanted to go, and so once they reached close to where they wanted to go and found no designated parking, they will park anywhere.

We don’t have designers going back and study human patterns and adapting to meet their unmet needs, especially at municipal/town level, because there’s no money. But repaving and painting, no problem.

Money got, just no political will… even if they don’t want to spend millions to consult or study human patterns they can always put out an official survey to gauge local community’s needs. Businesses operate in that area will have better understanding of human traffic.
