I read an article written by someone who has played golf with him. They said he cheats a lot, which is silly because he’s actually pretty good. But he cheats because he’s a cheater, not because he’s not good at the game. Anyone who cheats at golf cheats at everything else too.
Maybe because he gets a thrill from the act of cheating itself, and similarly lying, regardless of whether he benefits from it?
