Google has issued an apology after the company's latest iteration of its AI, known as Gemini, provided images of Black, Hispanic and Asians but not White people.

    Is this worse or better than deleting anything that tells the truth but you personally don’t like it?

    Should articles posted in this comm be about white males so they don’t get deleted?

      Tbh, there has been a lot of race focused posts lately. I’m toying with the idea of some sort of temporary halt on the topic, not sure if that’d make things worse. Streisand Effect and all.

        Edit. This comm is a joke. Anything resembling the truth gets deleted. You people need to touch grass and accept reality.

        It would have been cool to have a place where people could have actual discussions, but that’s obviously not the goal here at all.

          Youre free to be as left wing as you want in the comments, thats where the magic happens. If you want to discuss left wing stories, try pretty much every other political sub on lemmy. But if you want to discuss something a little different, heres the place to do it.

            But the moment somebody posts a picture of a cat* wearing a nazi arm band, it gets deleted, despite quite a lot of cats* supporting/being complacent of nazis.
