Two points:
First, the guns were only illegal because of the marijuana; no pot, the gun crime there.
Second, grenade launchers are legal. Grenades are not. Or, more specifically, each one has to have a serial number, be transferable, requires a background check by the ATF, and requires a $200 tax stamp. I think that they’re classified as “other destructive device”.
