    2. I thought they didn’t look like kids, they were just short and merry looking. They had long lives but they didn’t look like children.

      I can find a popular thing on the internet, especially here on Lemmy, that one could draw parallels to. Assuming this is meant as some sort of commentary.

      That said idk the whole premise of the cartoon is awful unless it’s intended as a commentary … “they’re of age, it’s a loophole” piece draws the parallel.
