It’s time to say goodbye to the Pixel Fold, as Google pulls its from its virtual store shelves alongside the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro.
I didn’t realize that they were actually selling older devices like that. I know Apple always did it, but I thought Google pulled the previous generation device from their shells as soon as the next one launched.
Already? Welp, guess I’ll never buy google
What’s wrong with not continuing to sell the model 2 versions back? There certainly are things to criticize Google for, but this seems like a particularly weird one to me.
Fold at least is 1 version back kinda. Released a month before pixel 8 but with pixel 7s CPU. That being said I am not of the same opinion of the top commenter.
It’s also a significantly worse device for the same price. Discontinuing does not mean dropping support.
If I understood correctly, this is about Google stopping selling those phones, not stopping to give software updates. Pretty reasonable since they’re now two generations behind.
Why? Don’t get me wrong there are thousands of reasons to ditch google, but what the problem here?
