I highly recommend this Zeteo interview from the convention in regards to the matter.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkxLYHPQUzk

Basically, Muslims are sub-human to both Democrats and Republicans. If your political goal is humanity for all, the Democrats are not your party. The Democratic party (apparently) is a now openly Zionist party; a political philosophy which prescribes one religion above others.

There is no mixing words or wringing hands about it.

I like how the article is not about how Republicans kept Gaza out of the RNC

RNC is proudly against Palestinians. DNC tried to pretend they cared and then not only didn’t talk about it, but denied DNC-approved Palestinian American to speak at the event, while allowing Republicans, billionaires, Israeli hostage family members, and everyone else except Palestinians.

Is red maga or blue maga committing genocide right now? What’s the point of complaining about those not currently in power?

Granted, they’re on the same capitalist side, but still.

There are more issues besides just Gaza.

And one candidate will take it much further than the other.

Neat! We’re talking about the one whose party is currently in power and could do something about it right now, but thanks for trying to derail the discussion.

The problem is not with criticism of Zionism or the majority of the Democratic party being openly pro-Zionism. The problem is with equating the Democratic party with the Republican party and acting like it is somehow “brave” or “righteous” to demonize the only political party in the United States with any shred of decency remaining.

Zionist and decency should never be used in the same sentence.

Your red line not being genocide means that they can do anything to your neighbors as long as it’s pinkwashed enough.

I think it’s pretty well known they want to nuke and pave the Middle East. The only question is whether they’d include Israel in that or not.

Have you always been surprised the pre-flight announcement said:

In the event of an emergency please put your own oxygen mask on first

      And not

In the event of an emergency please refuse to put your own on and argue with the guy saying emergency air turns the frogs gay

Because man, I always wondered who needed that explained…

I’m not sure what your point is (probably just because I’m tired) but the announcement is for people who would try to help their kids first, and pass out from lack of oxygen before getting either mask on.

Just more anti-democrat nonsense to keep the left from voting. Many people, especially on Lemmy, don’t seem to get what’s going on. If they don’t vote… Trump wins. 🤷‍♂️

No leftist is voting for a genocidal pig lmao. Anyone who actually wants change is organizing and taking direct action.
