So today I stopped by two goodwills luckily. I managed to find my original intended targets though I saw suits there and yk always wanted one. Though for me like the one at DXL was 300-400$. So I went to the second store and found this a Lucelli Jacket!
I’ve been looking online for a little while and I guess they don’t have an official website. Though they have products out and due to research I heard branding on arms isn’t exactly normal and it’s also golden thread. So I’m thinking I scored big for only 8$.
If anyone can authenticate this to the best of your ability and let me know how much it’s worth please!!
Forget to mention materials match of other products!! So that is one step towards knowing!!
The only thing I could find were ones listed on Poshmark.

Most look to be polyester, one tag I saw showed a TJ Maxx/Ross style label on it, so probably a generic house brand.
I did hear that most original ones where around 200-800$ though the arm branding was uncommon. So I don’t know but maybe. Shit even if it’s only 50-100 I still got it for 7$. One that is comfortable and fits. 🤘🏻
If you intend on keeping it, why care about lineage of the brand? If it’s well made, of decent material, and fits the vast majority of the populus will neven consider/care what brand it is.
I once found a shirt I really liked at a thrift store for $2. It had a funky block design that I really liked and I thought I scored big because it looked like a fancy shirt that would’ve cost me $50 new.
One day I spilled coffee on it and was devistated so my wife ordered me a new one without telling me. When it got here I was a little put off because the thought of wearing a tshirt that cost more than $20 kind of throws me off.
I pressed her a little since at the time we weren’t doing super hot. Turns out it was a marshalls brand and cost like $12 to get delivered. I was increasingly more stoked than I was when I thought it was some designer brand.
I do intend on keeping it but also thought of a possible energy rent fund.
Absolutely, you got a deal no matter what. A cheap but good fitting suit will almost always look better than an expensive one that doesn’t.
I’m going to be a bit blunt, but unfortunately you didn’t score big in a cash sense. The tag on the arm is to make it easier to check brand on a store rack and is designed to be easily cut off–having it still on does increase its value as it’s a sign of low/no use. However, tailored clothing like suits and blazers are a relatively niche and very saturated market, so unless it’s a new or like-new 100% wool or wool/silk blend in the classic 2-button style and from a very well known brand (Brooks Brothers, Hugo Boss, etc.), it’s going to be very hard to sell it for much because people can just do what you did and go to a thrift store and choose from tons of suits for ~$8 each. Even if the store originally charged $800 for it, as another poster commented these suits are selling for ~$30-$100 on Poshmark and most of those listings have been up for months. If you’re very patient you could maybe get $20-$50.
However, if it fits well and you like it, you scored a fantastic clothing deal on a fun jacket, so congratulations! The money you saved instead of buying the $300 jacket at DXL is now free for your emergency fund!
Yeah sadly I did figure that out afterwards a little while though I did stop in DXL and they estimated it due to material and everything between 150-300$! Though I ain’t selling it. Actually probably heading by DXL again and getting that altered!! To fit. though for sure thank you.
