Optus failed to provide honest and credible communication during last year's phone outage, and should be forced to provide fair compensation in the event of another, a Senate committee has found.

    In other news, Optus has sharply increased prices across the board. All other telcos have followed suit.

    No officials from any of the companies would comment, however, an unnamed source said “Well, those clowns in the Senate mentioned about us having to pay for an outage, and we all know that’s going to happen sometime, so it’s a perfect excuse to jack prices up straight away. We’re gonna get huge bonuses this year!”.
