Offers better brine handling and produces higher-purity water, making it ideal for offshore green hydrogen production. Sustainable and efficient solution with low environmental impact.
But does it scale?
I came here for that as well! Isn’t this always the ultimate issue? But what if we could take all the salt out and use it to create large swaths of white to reflect back energy. With hydrogen production as well! This has to be at least a blueprint for the future of humanity.
Isn’t that technically salting the earth? Maybe in something like the Sahara but I don’t see like it’s a good idea.

When using solar directly to heat water how much more efficient can you get than a black container?
Coaxial vacuum tubes allow solar light energy in through the vacuum but the heat energy can’t escape that way. The center conductor is black and a heat pipe to heat the water.
Super duper efficient
Ed: also regarding a black container not vacuum isolated, the heat energy will be lost to the environs just as fast and efficiently as it is absorbed. Ref: Black Body Radiation
Just to clarify your comment for other readers: the coaxial vacuum tube do a better job of putting the heat into the water as opposed to the surroundings.
Very cool. Let’s hope the final version works as promised!
