      the agreement seems farcical since it allows for the highest levels of fossil fuel production in history, but somehow still remain in accordance with this climate change agreement.

    Good.

    An agreement without actual plans for execution and punishment for not complying is worthless anyway.

    The agreement is only worth the paper its written on. The climate doesn’t give a shit where the pollution is done. Making pollution regionalised is the dumbest thing ever.

    Want to pollute to get your cheap low quality crap? Just move the factory overseas. Now you can extract that from your emission.

          It’s not enough, but better than nothing. The minimum one could do. And now he will neither follow this or any other agreement against climate change.
