“We just keep caving and everyone seems to get more and more mad at us!”
“We’ve done nothing, and we’re all out of ideas!”
Guys no calm down you gotta give them a break. They got really tired from doing nothing and had to take a nap before conceding the entire democratic system. They’re doing their best. Interpretation of that last bit left as an exercise to the reader.
The Democratic party is dead. Hopefully progressives will become the new Democratic party. Or even more hopefully we will enact ranked-choice voting nation-wide.
We’ll get ranked choice in America at the end of a gun or nothing, like every other meaningful reform.
“Schumer has announced that they have heard their donors’ concerns and will be shifting further right.”
Maybe dem voters want something that is not Republicans. Maybe Dems could, you know, not be Republicans, if they want votes at least.
Maybe bragging about an endorsement by the embodiment of absolute evil, the Lord of the nine hells, the architect of imperialist nightmares beyond human comprehension Dick Cheney and his equally evil daughter or whatever the fuck happened that caused Liz Cheney’s entering of this plane of existence, was a bad idea.
Nah it’s the citizens who are wrong.
They have very successfully cast AOC and Bernie as radical “crazy” leftists, and in doing so have pushed themselves further right to build a divide between democrats and whatever name of the week they give those two. When AOC was first elected, I honestly thought she was the future of the party. Now we’re here and she’s not even really considered part of it, just an outsider
Dems keep trying to move right in the futile attempt to capture red votes. They don’t understand that the moderate right has more in common with the far left than the moderate left.
Progressive party time
I have called and yelled at Schumers answering machine for two straight business days, and I’m looking to establish a streak
It’s like not standing for anything and sacrificing your party’s morals in the name of “compromise” isn’t a solid strategy
