Right now, both of the example instances are down 🤷🏻‍♀️

Apparently there are some issues:

lemmyBB only runs with an outdated lemmy version and therefore the instructions are not correct anymore

I’ve spent so much time on phpBB forums. I never thought the UI was particularly good, though. Quite the opposite, actually 💁🏻‍♀️ But it’s super nostalgic for me as a part of the pre-Facebook web that I really loved.
