Roosters to Celebrate Membership Record in Round 26

The Club will celebrate their historic 20,000 Member milestone in Round 26, when the Roosters NRL and NRLW teams play a double-header at Allianz Stadium on Saturday, August 26.

Find this hard to believe, I expected they must have broken through 30k at some point over the years. Maybe outside of the Eastern Suburbs they dont have too many supporters, or the Easterm Suburbs people dont even join up? Dolphins sent out an email in June saying they have 28.5k members already.

    Today I learned that the smalled AFL club in terms of members (Gold Coast Suns) would rank third among the NRL clubs. I didn’t realise the NRL clubs were so much smaller than the AFL clubs.

      Ya was funny, after Roosters crowed about 20k the Swans sent out an email about 62k. AFAIK AFL memberships are quite varied and different, giving a lot more options / affordability.
