    I always thought Pearce copped a lot of unfair criticism and blame for his teams losses. He was a very good player but he wasn’t the reason why the blues couldn’t win for example yet often copped the brunt of the blame.

      Agree. Qld way too good during his chances. And the whole selection strategy was stupid. And still is.

      It didn’t help that eg, the Roosters won after they signed Cronk. But again, I don’t think that’s the main factor why they won then, and didn’t with Pearce.
