Missing source frames were created, all images repaired, processed and graded to provide for smooth interpolation and more realistic color. Himawari-8 is a geostationary satellite operated by the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA). It is used to provide continuous, high-resolution observations of the Earth's weather and climate.
