    It seeme pretty obvious that the current MacBook Air chassis was designed with the 3nm thermal characteristics in mind. That coming Air might be the perfect laptop for me if they do indeed pull off the 3nm transition.

    Why do the pros wait? Apple still figuring out which one of the two remaining IO ports they should remove?

        Yeah I’ve seen several articles recently indicating that chip yields on M3s are around 55%. Apparently Apple has negotiated with TSMC for pro-rated pricing - that is, they only pay for the stuff that’s working, due to the consistently low yields. That’s a bit unusual, to say the least.

      No, they haven’t decided on the exact location on the bottom they’re going to put the only charging port for maximum inconvenience.
