I use Manjaro btw.
On your pi?
no but on my pc and laptop. but yes i have a pi
Debian testing
I use Arch, by the way.
I use Arch, by the way.…Do I have to say it for each computer? I’m about to put it onto a third, too… probably only supposed to say it once. Maybe the wiki has an answer. Not like there’s a handbook to consult… on that thought, the Gentoo handbook should probably specifically mention not to mention being a Gentoo user 😅😢
then i would have to say it two times too.
and i heard of gentoo but never ‘met’ someone who uses itI’ll probably switch back to Gentoo eventually :-\ Back and forth (not the language, though Forth is kinda neat) I go, eternally bouncing between Arch and Gentoo.
I tried various distributions like Ubuntu, Arch, Mint, … and came to Manjaro (based on Arch) and now using it everyday on laptop and PC. Doesn’t matter if for work, programming or personal use. And the communitiy is great!
Damn I do 3 of these 4 things. I didn’t know I was meme material
For decades you’ve been a meme.
Who talks about Raspberry Pi!? Not familiar with that particular stereotype…
I’m literally all of these (minus CrossFit) and you’d never know unless you mentioned any of those things.
At least for the vegan part today it’s the other way round
It’s kind of normal to have vegan options on a menu but when you go out with someone and order that option everyone asks you about that and wants you to explain why you ordered that
Yeah exactly. Or they pressure you to just order/eat whatever’s non-vegan and won’t take “no” for an answer.
I told this story already elsewhere but one day I went to the office for work (I normally work from home) and they were all ordering ice cream and I said “no thanks” but they kept pushing it, “we always do this on Thursdays,” “it’s free” blah blah.
The other thing I can’t stand sort of related to this is I have people in my life that invite me somewhere or suggest doing something and I say “no thanks” but they keep going with it so I usually explain my reasoning. Then they get all pissy and go “you don’t need to explain yourself.” Really?? Then why do you keep going on and on?
I feel you. Nowadays people just don’t want to hear a no. Oneday I was out with some people I knew after work and everyone except me ordered a beer but I just didn’t want one and ordered an ice tea. But then they offered me one and I had to say again that I don’t feel like it on that day.
On an other day my brass band got invited to play on a neighborhood festival (I don’t know if that word exists but its like a big meet with all the families in a neighborhood). And because I came with my motorcycle and in switzerland there’s a rule that you can’t drink until you drive 2 years (0.0‰) I declined all offers for a beer. But there was this dad I knew from my childhood who asked like every five minutes why I don’t want a beer and I had to explain it every time.
Just accept a no. Don’t ask a second time or just offer something. You order me a beer just that I can’t decline? Not with me but hey, you have another for you.
