With the release of eero App version 6.32.0, we added Wifi Radio Metrics, a new feature that allows eero Plus customers the ability to view more advanced wireless details like channel busyness, noise floor, and the channels and bandwidth being used by the eero devices on your network.
Looks like the newest feature added to eero Plus. Thoughts?
It is irritating that this feature is only accessible with a plus subscription.
I agreed to the feature set when I bought these routers and thankfully, I haven’t had a need for these radio metrics features. But it still chafes a little bit.
Glad it’s here, nice to be able to check at the source without a Wi-Fi scanner app. It’s interesting though that it took so long. Maybe they’re only just confident enough now to reveal how their ACS is performing in your environment. Would have been a bad look if they released this only to reveal that your eeros are not picking the best channels for your environment.
