I would try changing proton versions and maybe delete and re create the wine prefix that rocket league is pointed at. I see nothing in the logs…

Sounds like you dodged a massive bullet lol.

There are some differences in what can be installed, like steam has a list and lutris has a list of which orotons can be installed, some of those are in common. I would recommend downloading protonupqt lutris and steam and play with them for a bit.

Really? When I tried it stopped working at the first real multiplayer part and said some sort of Anti cheat error message before quitting. That would be big if true.

I have one of these in every color. The blu one randomly started activating LT tho. May have spilled beer on it.
