The power vacuum created by the invasion of Afghanistan is not the same as USAID funding poppy farming. Correlation is not causation. When the Taliban was overthrown local poppy growers took advantage. We didn’t move in there with the intent to grow more opium.

I’m being downvoted because I wasn’t explicitly blaming AI for all of our problems like everyone seems to want to do now. It’s a scapegoat for so much shit. Honestly, it dilutes the real problems with it, like power consumption, and the hardware shortages. But, no, we have to blame everything on AI, because no one was lazy before ChatGPT came around.

I kinda wish this was a reward for the early purchasers. Buy the EA release and you get free DLC at launch that gives you the option to use placeholder art or new art. Hades II had some great placeholder art and it’s all gone now.

Doesn’t sound like an AI problem, sounds like a lazy student problem. These are students that would have done poorly before AI and tried to use other methods to slide by easier. You aren’t seeing anything new, you are just using the reason du jour to blame it on.

Edit: Ok, I can already see the downvotes coming, but seriously, think about what OP is saying. Openly hoping for WW3. Getting Russia involved against the US, while already weakened by their war on Ukraine, is just the opportunity that the US military meat grinder wants to justify action against Russia. You can condemn the actions of the US and Russia in the same sentence. You don’t have to choose a side here. Saying “I’m glad Russia is attacking the US” isn’t a great stance to have in the current climate. Makes you sound like a warmongering idiot, regardless of how much you dislike anyone involved.

Very likely a confirmation of this would have been in his medical records. If his records were to be subpoenaed by a court to corroborate this, then we’d have something, but 40+ years on, they are long destroyed by now, so we are out of luck.
