History will say they were roommates
History will say they were roommates
It’s crazy how ubiquitous those were. Anyone with a mic for their PC had that exact mic.
Hell, I’m a millennial and I had a professor at college maybe five years ago who used an overhead because he refused to figure out how to use PowerPoint with the computer projector.
It’s a show called Mystery Science Theater 3000. It’s about someone stuck in space by evil scientists and forced to watch bad movies with his robot companions (played by puppets). The show is made up mostly of them watching the movie with only their silhouettes in the bottom of the screen as they make fun of the movie, like in the comic, with occasional segments where they leave the theater and usually do some kind of skit related to the film.
It’s kinda corny but it’s a fun show. They have a channel on YouTube where they upload some of the episodes and play others live, and an app where you can watch most of them ad-free.
Idk I kinda like it somehow
It all depends on if their name on the ballot has an R or a D next to it
Man I wish they still made The Mighty Boosh. So brilliantly surreal.
I mean sure, there are always concessions to be made, but what I had in mind was more the “include this entire 6 GB library so I can use this particular function once” kind of bloat.
Wait a minute, there’s no latinum in this! This is just worthless gold!
I haven’t blocked anyone individually, but I found blocking hexbear and lemmygrad made an immediate vast improvement.
Huh, didn’t realize those two were incompatible. TIL
Not if you add mending 😈
I’m not sure it’s exclusive to Western developers, as I don’t know much about software in other parts of the world, but there does seem to be an unfortunate trend of companies forgoing software optimization because modern computers are usually beefy enough to handle it, and it’s cheaper to ship out inefficient slapdash software than it is to take the time and resources to fix it.
Honestly no, I don’t think Trump understands. The way he talks about his precious tariffs, I’m pretty sure he’s under the impression that imposing a tariff on Chinese goods means making China pay for it. It’s really just the latest iteration of “build a wall and make Mexico pay for it.”
I mostly remember him from the debate on evolution he did with Bill Nye. Everyone told Nye not to do it, since there was no way Ham was going to debate in good faith. Surprise surprise, Ham did not debate in good faith. Outright said no evidence would change his mind in the middle of the debate, that he would always interpret any evidence in such a way that it fit with what he already decided was the truth. Anyway, all this to say fuck Ken Ham.
I think it depends on if you’re correcting people to better understand them, or correcting them to be correct. Or, to put it another way:
Nazis have a rich history of stealing symbols and coopting movements. They’re like hateful little magpies who steal any shiny bits of culture they find and take them back to their nests to shit all over them.
Certainly not pocket-sized either
I mean, I’d expect one to face a little more than “scrutiny,” but here we are.
