What I mean is, should we mostly prefer uploading images to the instance itself or is it better to link to external sources (like imgur, catbox.moe, etc.)?
I ask to know what would be deemed reasonable utilization of the server storage by us users

Ok, sounds good to me, thanks for clearing that up!!

On the topic of media in general, do you see certain media displayed as exclamation marks with white background when browsing in Jerboa (if you do use it)?

I usually use it over the web UI and some of the photos don’t load on me too. I’ve only encountered it a few times in a month though. How often does this happen to you?

Quite a bit, I wish I had saved the posts where I noticed it because now I don’t know where to look, an example is in my last posts where I made a video link (example), it displays correctly on web, but not on Jerboa, I don’t really browse on the web, but I think I never noticed it there, while on Jerboa it happens regularly.
I’ll see if I can find more posts like that, then I’ll open a new thread here.

Meanwhile, I’ll upload something random right now to test:

        bruh

Edit: this test works right now

Sorry to say this again, but it looks like Jerboa issue again :D Have you tried a different client? I guess Jerboa isn’t stable enough.

Lol it really be like that.

I am using Infinity on the side, though that one is very crashy for now.
It’s fine though, it’s to be expected that some things don’t work 100% yet
