How the hell did I become a mod here? How do I opt out?

    I think this calls for a feature where appointing moderators is something that should be confirmed or rejected on the receiving account.
    Is there an issue for this kind of thing already open? I wasn’t able to find one

      Yeah that’s how Reddit does it. They invite you as mod, then you have to accept it by clicking a link in your PMs.
