I had to remove the radio and then drilled a hole in the side of it. I bought the ball for $10 and then spent another $40 on the other parts of the mount

    That looks solid! I opted for a ProClip mount in mine (which snaps in to one if the vents above the head unit) since it’s not invasive, but I like the placement of yours way better
