I, Winnie, a border collie (7 months F) was out with my humans Dad (50M) and Sibling (21NB). I had just done some “training” with Dad and met up with Sibling who I haven’t seen in an entire day! I was happily trotting along when some smaller humans (around 5F and 2F) approached with some bigger humans (30s F and M).

Dad thankfully let me get my pats in, but since I was “excited”, I was to be held. If that’s what it takes.

The older, small human was happily patting while the parents explained that the younger, small human was getting over her fear of dogs.

Well obviously I had to help! I pushed against my Dad’s hands to get closer to show I was happy to see her.

Unfortunately she burst into tears! Out of nowhere! And Sibling knelt down to pull me back as well. All I wanted to do was get closer. Maybe jump up on her. Nothing bad!

I was told I was a naughty dog, but I really don’t think so. AITC or did that small human cry over nothing.
