and then was taken to jail for illegally open-carrying a firearm in a public building.

I thought conservatives were not fans of gun free zones? Why are you rooting for him going to jail?

Not a fan of them because they disarm the good guy (because we follow the law) while criminals ignore them, which aside from being common sense, this proves perfectly.

It sounds like he was exercising his 2nd Amendment rights. The location of that exercise as inside a building probably should’ve been reconsidered. Otherwise, what did he do wrong?

Is it? Ever been to a gun show and watch cops pulling out disqualified people that try to buy? Literally happens at every one of them. Better yet, ever work at a gun shop or sporting goods store and see first hand how many people are denied daily? Because its a lot.

Ever had a friend just kinda leave a gun in your house and say “merry Christmas?” Because that’s 100% legal here in KS. If someone just hands you a gun and says it’s yours, it just is. No paperwork required, no government forms, no licensing. Easier than getting a car.

My bad for thinking evidence or rationality would mean anything here, Everything is so much easier when you can claim that the facts are wrong and keep your head in the sand.

Graphs like that can be skewed very easily. Cherry picking stats to push a narrative is child’s play. It happens everyday by the MSM, CDC, FBI, etc. If you can’t understand that then there is no sense continuing this conversation.

So then tell, me, how is the graph skewed? Show me the evidence that it is skewed.

Those two aren’t mutually exclusive. And sometimes it is a republican and sometimes it is an nra member.
