Definitely, if you ever see a single moth, especially the small kind, fluttering anywhere in your house or apartment, put your favorite wool items in a plastic bag and put it on the freezer for 24 hours. This will kill the little buggers without the stink of mothballs or toxic insecticides.

I buy vintage whenever I can and have a nice collection of much-researched and sought-after wool shirts and dress pants. I also have a beautiful wool Pendleton blanket on my bed which gets the treatment as needed, or even if not, as I regularly do this just as a precaution: it takes just a minute to slip the item in a bag and tuck it in the freezer.

Nothing is worse than finding holes in a favorite item. If you love your expensive wool items, like Merino or cashmere sweaters, you’ll especially understand.
