Vegeta isn’t my favorite, but man it sure is lame how Dragon Ball Super’s manga writer loves to play with opposites so overtly. That is especially with Vegeta. He’s cool in his own way. Even when his own way got in his way to power. But ever since the Zamas arc, it’s been getting worse and worse.

So in Moro, he goes on to learn learn who to teleport like Goku and learns how to do a reverse spirit bomb. Where instead of kindly asking, he steals energy.

But Ultra Ego takes the cake on this. Where instead of being about all the dodging Ultra Instinct is infamous for, it’s all about taking hits. Like seriously guy?

Find your own way to be the best by being the opposite of number 1 isn’t finding your way. That’s just flipping the script or playing games. I don’t know if fans like Vegeta being opposite Goku in the manga, but I sure ain’t a fan of it. It has this kind of symbolism or video gamey-ness that just isn’t good nor cool. I don’t think it’s certainly doing Dragon Ball any favors either. It’s just so lame.
