Some of the fill was just awful. ■■■■■ METOOER was especially bad The fact that it was a Thursday puzzle had be questioning the 44/44 section ■■■■■ as it related to 12D, as I though maybe ROBOT was meant to be written circularly, for some reason? Even for a Thursday puzzle this was obtuse.
