Thanks @chives for helping me check out Lemmy. I’m a total newbie here. Right now this is primarly as a fall back option besides a Youtube vid if Reddit goes down, but if you post a question related to BBBY I will try to answer within 24 hours.
Looks like there’s some easy self moderation options here? Easy to block users it seems, dont know what else.
And without reddit rules theres more leeway as well. What’s posted here isn’t necessarily representative of my views or what have you. Happy to have community run options like is setup to go with the blockchain voting on Reddit as well.

Hey real I was pb from Reddit glad u posted this. I made a comment about the 3 letter agency’s an was permabanned. Then the Twitter files came out theat the gov was paying to censor so I guess Reddit is as well. Love seein ya on the pp show an man the dd is damn good.
Lol your lemmy name. Hmm, I haven’t dug into the Twitter files too much but I think I caught the gist of it. Will have to revist. Thanks for the props. Good to have places to go that can’t be so easily shut down by a few peoples say so. The lack of transparency is the thing that really gets me.
