Been having this issue since I got the laptop, where after a while the Bluetooth keeps cutting out. If you check the Settings app, you can see Bluetooth constantly disappear and reappear. Incredibly annoying since my headphones, mouse and keyboard are connected via Bluetooth.

I tried the following with no success:

  • “Shut down” or “Restart” from the Power menu.
    • Didn’t help.
    • I would have to press and hold the Shift key to bring up the Advanced startup options then select “Start Windows Normally”.
  • Uninstalling and reinstalling Bluetooth drivers
    • Temporary fix. Issue starts reappearing after a while.

The fix I found online that does actually work:

  • “go to device manager and open the bluetooth driver page. open the bluetooth adapter and you’ll see power management tab. uncheck the allow computer to turn off the device to save power.”

Followed these instructions for the MediaTek Bluetooth Driver in Device Manager, and I’m no longer facing intermittent Bluetooth. Thank you to laBlueBoy on Reddit.
