    My great grandfather died fighting the nazis in Normandy near Caen. If he had lived and captured some trophies like a nazi flag or whatever, I mean good for him I guess, he put his body on the line in the fight against the Nazis - but I don’t think I’d accept them as inheritance and want them lol. I’d rather donate it to whatever museum or to a costume rental company so they have stuff to give out for productions of Sound of Music

    If for some reason it was like Hitlers personal spork and I had to keep it, I definitely wouldn’t display it or post it on reddit lmao

    So far 10 of those commenters have outed themselves as having nazi grandparents that managed to avoid prosecution, and passed down nazi heirlooms.
