Any remaining time will convert to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate time at a ratio of 3:2 and be rounded up to the next full day.

My GPU expired a few weeks before and I was going to get around to renewing it. Rats.

Not sure if I want to invest in Xbox any more, to be honest. My usage of my Series S has nosedived since getting the Steam Deck. Having to pay for multiplayer sucks. I’m only using it for Microsoft Rewards at this point.

With Gold also changing to Game Pass Core, I wonder what long lasting effects it’ll have on conversion.

Not to push any agenda, but it might be beneficial for you to sell the Series S and use the funds to get yourself something nice on the Steam Deck. Or, use the funds to take advantage of the sweet sweet Steam sales. :-)

It was definitely going to end soon! I was hoping it would go through the end of the year as my 3 years of ultimate will expire in December

That wording has not changed from the beginning. The conversion on a ‘new’ GPU from Gold is/was a special promo, and of late it has not been publicized at all.

Someone will have to try it to confirm if it is still live.

For those who might not know (and assuming the conversion would still work): If you have an existing GPU, you must let it lapse for at least 24 hrs before buying Gold and converting to GPU.
