This felt like the most ineffectual double yellow I’ve ever seen. Like Young just decided at the beginning of the game he was not going to see half time.
Yeah neither of these felt worth it either lol
Young is too old. Simple as really.
Young is the first player to be sent off against liverpool for a second yellow card foul since 2015. (Mane was the last one when he was at Southampton)
Thank God. Now they’ll shut up about no player ever getting a second yellow against them.
Isn’t that the first second yellow for a Liverpool opponent in something ridiculous like a decade?
Since Sadio Mane, in 2015.
Since sadio mane for southampton yea
Well that will open this game up
Even when liverpool ends the ridiculous streak of opponents not getting a second yellow card, it took young deserving 3 clear cut ones
Who does he think he is? A City player?
How will Liverpool go 1-0 down now?
Now we’re definitely not scoring.
don’t bro know u can’t press square like that when ur guy has the special border around his triangle
Honestly feels like a real case of his body not being able to do what his brain asks. He needs to play it safer the older he gets. He probably felt emboldened by the earlier tackle
Was their best defending player
And then he does such stupid tackle instead of following his player
How come the commentators saying that’s harsh ?
Clear yellow all day long. He prevented Diaz from crossing into the box by fouling him and that too while on a yellow.
First time a team got a second yellow against us since Mane playing for Southampton in like 2016.
