    It’s important to do it by minutes on the pitch. 6 of his games he won last season he came on with less than 10mins left. Some of them he was on when Utd were 2 goals up and a couple were 90+3

    He also never played most of the big sides away so it helps his stats.

    Because he’s barely been used since last year and only played whenever Varane/Martinez were injured or needed rest. Just 15 matches. Which most likely also have been against lesser sides, after Varane/Martinez needed rest against playing the more important matches.

    “U2 stats” are notoriously shit at telling you anything meaningful.

    They reward backup players, because they games in which they’re deputised in are typically the ones the team is most likely to win.
