Can we do something about all these communities that are exactly the same in all but name? There’s no reason to have 15 communities about bdsm or Latex fetish or fuckin FUTA/trans.
I’m not hating on anyone’s preferences but we shouldn’t have multiple communities that have the exact same content but with a dumb twist to the name.

I think it’s normal that at the beginning you have duplicates. A lot of people want new communities and be moderators for those communities, with time the best and most used will be filtered out
Yup. Same issue that Reddit had, with the same solution. Some will get popular and thrive, and the ones that don’t will eventually just sticky a link to the most popular community instead.
Eventually, the popular ones will get too popular, and you’ll start seeing the “True_[x]” communities start popping up
this is the way, even things like linux distros do this, fascinating to watch though
