I don’t really get the point of combining Post-Shot xG with Save % when the former was meant to be a better indicator of good goalkeeping than the latter.
I agree, maybe it tells you something about players in the same spot on PSxG but I’m not even sure what.
It tells you about the quality of shots the keepers face—which tells you more about the style/quality of the defense in front of the keeper than anything else TBH

This doesn’t even do that very well because it’s volume based, and not every goalie will be facing nearly as much XG as some others.
Like Ederson/Alisson/Ramsdale etc are gonna have a lot less chances to make positive saves in this than a Nero etc who’s under constant attack

The first is a volume stat and the second is a per shot stat. Maybe post shot xG per shot would be better instead of save %.
