MATCH EVENTS

1’: We’re off!

4’: Malick Thiaw into the book for a foul on Kolo Muani. That’s a bad card to pick up this early.

7’: Rade Krunić on a card now too. Not the start Milan wanted.

16’: Achraf Hakimi clatters into Musah from behind

22’: Mbappé with the first shot on target! Maignan get down quickly is behind it all the way.

26’: Leão with the shot! Or it might have been a pass to Giroud but Giroud lets it pass by him and it goes wide of the far bottom corner.

30’: Mbappé fires a missile from distance that drifts wide of the far post.

32’: GOAL PSG!! Kylian Mbappé does a quick cut by Kalulu and fires right into the near side!

44’: Ousmane Dembélé clips Giroud to stop a counter

HT Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 AC Milan One great individual goal from Mbappé is the difference at the half.

46’: Milan substitution: Davide Calabria on for Malick Thiaw

46’: We’re back!

48’: Goal PSG! They pound forward on the counter, and it’s finished off by Ousmane Dembélé who breaks free and sends it under the keeper’s arm! Except… no, the ref is going to look at the screen and cancel it, for a pretty rough foul by Ugarte on Musah in the buildup. Definitely a foul, but it was pretty far back from the goal… that might be controversial.

50’: A chance for Milan! Pulisic is one-on-one with the keeper! But he passes to Giroud! Giroud can’t quite get back to it and hits it into the side netting! Now Giroud is limping a little.

53’: GOAL PSG!! This one will stand! And it’s a terrible miscue by the Milan defense! PSG take the corner short, then Dembélé fires one on target. Maignan saves it but pushes it right into Randal Kolo Muani who quickly fires into the net! Entire Milan team napping!

58’: Mbappé tears holes through the defense again! But this time Maignan makes the save.

61’: Fikayo Tomori into the book for catching Kolo Muani in the face with his hand

62’: Pierre Kalulu fouls Mbappé from behind. These are some soft-ass cards.

63’: Pulisic fires from outside the box through traffic, on target but an easy save for Donnarumma

64’: Dembélé sprays a wild shot wayward.

71’: PSG double sub: Fabián Ruiz and Kang-in Lee on for Ousmane Dembélé and Manuel Ugarte

77’: Milan double sub: Tommaso Pobega and Yacine Adli on for Rade Krunić and Yunus Musah

78’: SAVE! Pulisic finds Leão on the left and Leão fires, just kept out of the bottom near corner by Donnarumma!

79’: Adli goes down in the box, ref immediately tells him to get up.

81’: Giroud with a header on target, but doesn’t have the power, easy save.

82’: SAVE! Maignan just gets a hand on Mbappé’s shot to push it into the far post!

82’: PSG substitution: Gonçalo Ramos on for Randal Kolo Muani

89’: GOAL PSG!! Lee Kang-In gets the dummy and takes it first time into the back of the net! That’s the dagger!

90’: Milan substitution: Simon Kjaer on for Fikayo Tomori

90+3’: PSG substitution: Nordi Mukiele on for Achraf Hakimi

Zaire Emery man of the match, no doubt. The kid has a bright future if he can keep this level and improve.

Milan has played Newcastle, Dortmund, PSG, Inter, and Juve this season. Teams that would generally be considered Champions League strength, and is 0-2-3 with a -8 goal difference at this moment.

That’s a shambolic return from Pioli

Newcastle and Dortmund were wins if our attackers could finish. Don’t act like we didn’t play well those games. Inter and juve was an absolute disaster class from thiaw and he shouldn’t start in big games hopefully once kalulu is fully fit. Even juves win was a dumbass locatelli long shot deflection.

Hopefully that convinces Enrique to never line up a 4-4-2 again against strong teams

He shouldn’t line up in anything but a 4-3-3 regardless of opposition. He also needs to start resting WZE. Do NOT burn this kid out

I have been a fan of this team for many, many years. I hardly remember worse performances than several i have seen in 2023.

Sack him before the season is over.

PSG and France are vulnerable solely for the fact that Luis Enrique and Didier Deschamps insist on starting Ousmane Dembélé

How have non-PSG fans found the PSG midfield this game ? I’m extremely hyped about WZE especially but like them all, but I can’t say if it’s justified or if it’s just because they play for my club

Hope PSG stick with the trend of buying French players and utilizing their academy, makes them a little bit more likeable.

That’s was a great win, one of our best performances in the season. Players were great, no one was terrible today. We did a great job putting pressure on Milan in the final 3rd the whole match, and this resulted in many opportunities, some that we were able to convert. I thought we did well on the counter attack today as well.

Zaire-Emery needs to take a bow for that performance. Man of the Match for me.

Other great players included Mbappé, Lee Kang In, Hakimi, and Vitinha.

Good game. I’m obviously happy for the win but we still aren’t at our very best. If Lee had started instead of Vitinha today, we would’ve been much more dominant.

WZE is our titi d’or and we should keep him at all cost. Even when he’s fouled he still continues instead of stopping the play. Kylian is still not as his best but clinical as always.

I’d say RKM has been awful in some instances, same as Dembouz but the game still went our way due to them

Dembele was by far the worst of the front 4. Vitinha wasn’t nearly as bad as him, but he doesn’t seem to know how to play Mbappe through on goal quickly.
