    At these prices, what’s the point of a single board? A much more performant (used) thin client is probably better for the more intensive tasks. And for simple stuff there is the Zero 2 W.

      It still has its super tiny size and silence, though less so with the 5’s heat generation, going for it. But if you’re just looking for a box to do things, it’s less compelling these days.

      I’ll probably still pick a 4GB up as I like them for servers, and the ARM architecture is neat.

        If they’d add something to enable some serious storage options that allow me to turn it into a decent NAS, they’d have my attention. That’s where the thin clients aren’t fantastic either.
