So I started this Channel 49 days ago because of a few circumstances - primarily the words of a friend in recovery who I found had passed from his addiction. He had written me a week or so prior to his passing that I should start a YouTube channel - having no idea how to be on video let alone make them, edit, what a short is or a reel or tik tok. Literally no idea. Today I have 44 videos and went over 100 subscribers (108), 10k views, and 100 watch hours. Videos are mix of videos and shorts. I just added a banner yesterday and figured out thumbnails and updated many of my videos this past week to include thumbnails. Also just included subtitles. I know my watch hours are low, but I’m still clueless but just jumping in. Not sure if I should go live, keep just trying to make better videos, I don’t care about the outcome so much, just the message and whatever happens happens, but trying to learn and do is a lot. I discuss My Awakening on my channel and how it relates to overcoming suffering of any kind. Im heading out into the woods for 60 days starting Halloween to do Tent living for a couple months (having no outdoors experience) to show people you can be happy anywhere. Homeless by choice scenario or minimalist living and I’m focused so much on video and preparing, I haven’t had time to learn about algorithms, lives, or building the platform at all. Hope this makes sense. I need to know how people balance what they want to accomplish with promotion or improving content. Any feedback is appreciated.

You can visit my channel and critique or give criticism as I need all the help I can get. Thank you for any response or assistance.
